Wendi Johnston

Wendi Johnston has extensive experience in nursing and human resources, currently serving as Vice President and Board Member for the ND Board of Nursing since October 2015, where responsibilities include regulating nursing education and practice standards. Additionally, Wendi has worked as a Human Resources Administrator and Travel Nurse at DTN Staffing since February 2014, undertaking LPN duties during staffing shortages while also actively recruiting healthcare professionals in various states. Wendi holds a leadership role as Secretary and Membership Director for District 24 Republicans since 2014, managing executive meetings and member recruitment. Wendi's background also includes freelance political writing from April 2016 to April 2023, covering key events, including the 2016 Presidential Race, and a brief tenure as the Eastern ND Field Director for SBAList in 2018, advocating for pro-life initiatives. Wendi Johnson is an alumnus of Bismarck State College, having attended from 2010 to 2012.
