Steven Murphy

Steven Murphy is an experienced professional with a diverse background in quality and risk management, process and controls, and client operations. Currently serving as the Quality and Risk Manager at Dublin Simon Community since August 2022, Steven previously held the position of Process & Controls Manager at Elavon Europe. Throughout a significant tenure at Bank of Ireland from February 2005 to April 2021, Steven managed various roles including Client Operations Manager, where leadership encompassed a unit of 16 FTE in payment services and credit risk management, and Fraud MI & Reporting Team Manager, responsible for providing fraud data to stakeholders. Steven also established a Data Loss Prevention Team, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting of data loss incidents, and managed Cash Operations with a team of 60 FTE across two locations. Steven holds a Higher Diploma in Science in Computing (Cybersecurity) from the National College of Ireland and a Bachelor's degree in Financial Services from IOB.
