René Mardones

Rene Mardones is an experienced community organizer currently serving as the Director of Community Organizing at Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative since March 2021. Prior to this role, Rene was the Lead Organizer at Somerville Community Corporation from January 2013 to December 2020 and worked as a Community Organizer at Alternatives for Community and Environment from March 2006 to January 2013. Rene holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Services from UMass Boston and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso. Currently, Rene is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Policy at Tufts University, with an expected graduation in 2025.
