Corie Smith

Corie Smith has extensive work experience at Duke Energy Corporation. Corie joined the company in 2015 as an SR IT Manager in the IT Applications Project Management Office. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing project management and support for IT applications. From there, Corie transitioned to become an SR IT Manager in the Agile Transformation team, where they played a key role in initiating a scaled agile transformation across IT for efficient software delivery. In 2018, Corie took on the role of Director in the Strategy & Innovation department, leading the company's response to the changing industry landscape and developing digital products to enhance customer and employee experience. Corie currently holds this position, showcasing their expertise in strategy and innovation.

Corie Smith attended the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business from 1995 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
