Maggie Hewitt

Maggie Hewitt has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. 🏔 Maggie started their career as a Software Engineering Co-op at Intel Corporation in 2012, where they developed and implemented site pages and improved aesthetics and loading times. 🏔 Maggie then moved on to Moog Inc., working as a Software Engineering Co-op and updating and maintaining web applications using SQL Server, C++, and JavaScript.

In 2014, Maggie joined JPMorgan Chase as a Corporate Summer Analyst, gaining experience in that role for two months. 🏔 Maggie then continued with JPMorgan Chase & Co. as a Developer, working on software development projects until 2017.

Maggie then transitioned to Duolingo, starting as a Senior Software Engineer in 2017. 🏔 Maggie later became a Site Reliability Engineering Manager, responsible for managing the reliability and performance of systems at the company. 🏔 Maggie is currently working at Duolingo in these roles. Alongside their work at Duolingo, they also briefly worked as a Product Manager at Myspiderweb.com in 2015.

During their time at RIT Software Engineering Department, Maggie worked as a Teaching Assistant, assisting in class activities, holding office hours, and grading homework. 🏔 Maggie also gained experience as a Resident Advisor at RIT Residence Life, building community, mediating conflicts, and supporting other Resident Advisors.
