Vivek Naik has a wealth of experience in the manufacturing industry, having worked in various roles since 2002. Vivek began their career as a Production Executive/Continuous Improvement at Top Brass Mfg Co. Pvt. Ltd., where they managed and instructed line operators on standard procedures and lead continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor. In 2005, they worked as a Manufacturing Intern at Vstructural Llc, where they taught Lean Manufacturing/Continuous Improvement concepts to operators and executed 6S techniques (5S plus safety) in shipping and receiving zones. From 2006 to 2015, they worked at Ultra Seating Co. Inc. in various roles, including VP of Operations - Lean Transformation, Engineering Manager - Lean Implementation, and Manufacturing Engineer/Lean Promoter. During this period, they introduced lean principles to other areas outside of manufacturing, resolved engineering setbacks, developed and delivered a new product in three weeks, facilitated Value Stream mapping, and developed strategies for operations to support the sales effort. From 2015 to 2016, they were the Director of Operations at Crop Stacks Agritech Pvt. Ltd. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Research and Teaching Assistant at Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business. Currently, they are the Director of Manufacturing Operations and Lead Product Engineer at Pulse Industrial, and Manufacturing Director - NPI at e-Zinc.

Vivek Naik has an extensive education and certification history. Vivek completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Goa University between 1998 and 2002. Vivek then attended The University of Texas at Arlington and earned a Masters in Mechanical Engineering between 2004 and 2006. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology from the University of Waterloo in 2019. In addition to their degrees, they have also obtained numerous certifications from institutions such as Coursera, LinkedIn, Udemy, Lynda.com, DigitalMarketer, and the University of Waterloo.
