Surya Subramanian

Surya Subramanian is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in corporate governance and audit committees. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee at Spinneys 1961 Holding Limited and as a Member of the Audit & Risk Committee at Dubai Holding, Surya also chairs the Audit Committees for E20 Investment LTD., Americana Restaurants, and Americana Foods. Previous roles include a Board Member at DAMAC Real Estate Development Limited and Network International Holdings PLC, along with advisory responsibilities at DAMAC Properties. Surya has a strong background in financial leadership, having served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at Emirates NBD prior to retirement. An alumnus of St. Xavier's College, Kolkata, with a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, Surya's diverse expertise encompasses sectors from real estate to food processing and entertainment.
