Nicolas Karasiak is a data scientist with extensive experience in remote sensing and geospatial analysis. Currently employed at EarthDaily Agro since September 2022, Nicolas previously worked as a data scientist at PIXSTART, where responsibilities included the validation and operation of algorithmic processing chains. During a doctoral program at INP Toulouse from October 2016 to September 2020, research focused on hypertemporal remote sensing of French forest species using Sentinel-2 satellite data to create species-specific maps. An internship as a geospatial analyst at Parc amazonien de Guyane involved utilizing remote sensing and SPOT-5 imagery to assess diverse vegetation types across 3.4 million hectares. Nicolas's earlier experience includes a commercial internship at Mailclub, focusing on client service and e-marketing strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Geomatics from ENSAT and additional degrees in Marketing and Communication from Aix-Marseille University and Université Côte d'Azur.
