Philipp Meinecke

Philipp Meinecke currently serves as the Senior Portfolio Manager for Special Situations at EB – Sustainable Investment Management since October 2023, focusing on restructuring and optimizing cost structures in the renewable energy sector in Europe. Prior to this role, Philipp Meinecke was the Managing Director of Asset Management at Fortress Investment Group from 2007 to September 2023, overseeing a portfolio of illiquid investments valued at over $2 billion. Philipp Meinecke's earlier experience includes serving as Senior Manager in Corporate Finance and Treasury at Cognis, where significant financing projects were executed, and as an Associate in Global Project Finance at UniCredit, where financial modeling and due diligence were key responsibilities. Philipp Meinecke holds a lic. oec. HSG degree in Wirtschaftswissenschaften from the University of St. Gallen.
