Camila directs search and selection at Echoing Green, where she drives strategy for finding and selecting emerging leaders from across the globe to join the organization’s community of Fellows.
Before joining Echoing Green, Camila worked with the Young Entrepreneurs for Leadership & Sustainability (YELS) Program to provide college-bound high school students the opportunity to experience life at the University of Florida while learning about social entrepreneurship and practicing sustainability. Originally from Colombia, Camila graduated from the University of Florida with a Master's degree in Sustainable Development Practice and holds a graduate certificate in Global Public Health. She believes that in an
inequitable world, the power of a community can be transformational and views her role as a vehicle for access for those who are so often underrepresented in the social impact space. In her free time, you can find her telling stories about her childhood or exploring New York City.
