Joachim Honegger

Joachim Honegger has held a variety of roles in the software engineering and robotics fields. In 2012, they began their career as an Assistant Software Engineer at MainTool. In 2016, they were the President of the student board at BDE prépa CPE Lyon. In 2017, they were a Semifinalist at Campus Creation, a start-up simulation in a multidisciplinary 6-member team. In 2018, they were a Technician, Method and Instruction at Alstom. In 2019, they were a Robotics Support Provider and Business Engineer at Makeblock. In 2020, they were a Machine Learning Engineer at the Hilti Group. In 2021, they were a Robotics Software Engineer at Cyberbotics Ltd. Joachim is currently a R&D Robotics Software Engineer at Ecorobotix.

Joachim Honegger is currently pursuing a degree in Robotics at EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 2020-2021. Prior to this, they received a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Digital Science and Robotics from CPE Lyon from 2017-2021. From 2016-2017, they attended Classes Préparatoires at Institution des Chartreux, studying PSI (Mathematics and Sciences with Languages and General studies). Joachim also obtained a Baccalauréat scientifique option SI spécialité ISN from Lycée René Descartes from 2012-2015. In addition, they have two certifications: a Youth work diploma (Brevet d'Aptitude aux Fonctions d'Animateur) from Jeunesse et Sports, obtained in June 2017, and a Junior Aviation Diploma (Brevet d'Initiation à l'Aéronautique) with honors from the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale.
