Pamela Derus

Pamela Derus has worked in the food industry since 2009. Pamela began their career at General Mills, where they worked as a Senior Research and Development Technician until 2016. During this time, they gained experience in packaging, process, analytical, and product development. Pamela also completed a Masters in Food Science from the University of Minnesota. In 2018, they moved to Merlin Development as a Food Scientist. In 2019, they founded Break Bread LLC and served as Senior Food Scientist and Product Developer. Currently, they are the R&D Lead for E&C's Snacks Heavenly Hunks.

Pamela Derus obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemistry from Augsburg University between 2004 and 2008. Pamela then went on to obtain their Master's degree in Food Science from the University of Minnesota between 2013 and 2017.
