Zhi Feng Huang (Robert)

Senior Data Scientist at EdCast

Zhi Feng (Robert) Huang has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Zhi Feng (Robert) started their career as an Undergraduate Student at Simon Fraser University, where they earned a B. Sc (1st Class Honors) in Computing Science. Following their undergraduate studies, Zhi Feng worked as a Co-op at Simba Technologies, where they fixed known issues of an ODBC Driver SDK and participated in the development and testing of a new release of the SDK.

Zhi Feng then continued their education at Simon Fraser University as a Graduate Student, focusing on computer vision and machine learning. During this time, they designed and implemented a system for surveillance event detection.

After completing their graduate studies, Zhi Feng joined Apple as a Software Engineer. In this role, they worked on various components of the Cocoa framework, including localization components in CF/Foundation. Zhi Feng (Robert) also designed and implemented an API for detecting string encoding based on statistical analysis.

Zhi Feng later joined EdCast as a Senior Data Scientist, where they worked on the recommendation engine for a learning platform. Zhi Feng (Robert)'sresponsibilities included data analysis, deep learning models, and implementing different machine learning languages and algorithms.

Throughout their career, Zhi Feng has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, machine learning, and computer vision.

Zhi Feng (Robert) Huang completed their education at Simon Fraser University. From 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science. Following that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from the same university, completing their studies from 2010 to 2012.

Additionally, Zhi Feng (Robert) Huang obtained several certifications. In December 2017, they completed the "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" course from Coursera. Zhi Feng (Robert) also completed the "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" course and the "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" course from Coursera during the same time.
