Amy Morina has been in the data engineering field since 2016. In 2016, they worked as an Advanced Analytics Consultant at CCG Analytics Solutions & Services. In 2017, they moved to Ashley Furniture Industries as a Senior Data Engineer. In 2021, they joined SemanticBits as a Senior Data Engineer, where they are part of a team building the Analytics and Reporting Platform for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid. Her work involves a variety of technologies in both the Azure and AWS cloud stack, such as Apache Spark (Scala), AWS EMR, Redshift, Apache NiFi, Snowflake, Databricks (PySpark), and AWS S3.
Amy Morina earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Economics from the University of South Florida between 2013 and 2015. In February 2016, they obtained an IBM Certified Associate - SPSS Modeler Data Mining v2 certification from IBM.
