Jill Fletcher

Jill Fletcher is an experienced educator and coordinator currently serving as the College and Career Readiness Coordinator and Teacher at the Hawaii State Department of Education since July 2008. Jill's prior roles include Curriculum Coordinator, Hawaii State Teacher Fellow, Interim Assistant Principal, and Special Education and ELA Teacher. Additionally, Jill contributes as a Freelance Writer for Edutopia, focusing on educational topics and experiences in Hawai'i. Jill has held the position of Hawaii AMLE Officer, Secretary at AMLE and served as a Hawaii State Teacher Fellow for Hope Street Group. Jill holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Santa Clara University, a Master of Arts in English, Creative Writing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, and a PBSCE in English Language Arts, Secondary Education from the same institution.
