Sean Patrick Ironside has a diverse and extensive work experience in various marketing and brand roles. Sean Patrick started their career as a Brand Development Intern at glow communication in 2009. Sean Patrick then worked as an Account Manager at eobiont \\\u200b\\ listen create repeat\u200b \\\u200b\\, where they focused on turning client briefings into marketing campaigns. Sean Patrick later joined COOKIES CLUB // CHG GmbH as an Artist Booker & Marketing Manager, responsible for artist bookings and communications for the club and its restaurants. Sean then worked at Heads With Tales as a Brand Strategy Consultant, kickstarting marketing activities and developing the brand.
In 2015, they joined crobo as their first marketing communications manager and later became the Head of Brand & Communications. During their tenure, they managed a brand and website relaunch, repositioning crobo as an app marketer. Sean Patrick also worked as a Brand Strategy Consultant at Sidestage, where they developed the brand and implemented the company's content and communications strategy.
In 2017, Sean became the Head of Brand & Communications at LIQID, where they built up the brand and marketing strategy. Sean Patrick collaborated with Sales and Product teams to create user experiences and drive website traffic. Sean Patrick then worked as a Brand Strategy Consultant at Project A Ventures before joining SumUp as a Brand Strategy Consultant, supporting the global payments provider in building its US market presence.
Sean's most recent role is at EGYM, where they have held several positions. Sean Patrick started as a Global Brand Director, relaunching the EGYM brand and driving product positioning. Sean Patrick was then promoted to Senior Director Global Marketing & Brand, leading the entire Global Marketing team at EGYM. Finally, they became the VP Global Marketing & Brand, overseeing the transformation of EGYM's marketing function into a data-driven and Brand-centric organization. Sean Patrick guided the team through a successful fundraise and significantly increased the company's valuation.
Sean Patrick Ironside completed their education at several institutions. Sean Patrick obtained their high school diploma, known as Abitur, with a major in English and History from Gutenbergschule Wiesbaden. Following this, they attended Hochschule Hannover from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. Apart from their formal education, Ironside also obtained additional certifications, including the ScaleUp Germany: Leadership Workshop from the institution scale up in 2015 and the Techstars Alumni (Berlin Program, 2015) from Techstars.
