Alma Renteria-Estrada

Alma Renteria-Estrada is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the School Principal and Digital Learning Coach at El Rancho Unified School District since October 2016. With a strong focus on enhancing educational programs and technology integration, Alma collaborates with teachers to implement Common Core standards and facilitate professional development. As a former Commissioner for the California Department of Education, Alma advised on curriculum and instruction matters. Additional roles include being a National Institute for Latino School Leaders-CA Fellow and serving on the Board of Directors for Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation and as a Board Member for Lynwood Unified School District. Alma's educational credentials include an EdD in Educational Leadership for Social Justice from Loyola Marymount University, multiple Master's degrees, and a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of California, Riverside.
