Rocío Sotomayor Torres-Acero

Rocío Sotomayor Torres-Acero has a diverse and extensive work experience. Rocío currently works as a Field Application Engineer at Elo Touch Solutions, starting in October 2021. Previously, they worked at LG Electronics as a B2B Information Display KAM from March 2018 to November 2020, where they were responsible for maintaining relationships with key accounts and achieving business plan targets. Prior to that, Rocío worked as a Project Manager at Ruybesa from January 2015 to March 2018, focusing on long-term relationships with large retail accounts. Rocío also served as the Presales & Support Manager at LDA Audio Tech from October 2013 to December 2014, overseeing the design and implementation of customer solutions. Rocío has experience in the monitoring and security field as a Security Systems Engineer at Indra from June 2012 to October 2013. Finally, they worked as a System Analyst at Oracle from February 2009 to May 2012, providing 24x7 mission-critical monitoring and support for key customers.

Rocío Sotomayor Torres-Acero completed their Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Rocío attended the university from 2004 to 2012. Additionally, they pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Data Science & Big Data from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. This program ran from 2021 to 2022.

Alongside their formal education, Rocío also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they received the Extron AV Associate certification from Extron Electronics. More recently, they achieved three Android Enterprise certifications: the Android Enterprise Certified Associate in December 2022, the Android Enterprise Certified Professional in March 2023, and the Android Enterprise Certified Expert in May 2023. The institutions responsible for these certifications were Extron Electronics for the Extron AV Associate certification and Android Enterprise for all three Android Enterprise certifications.
