ASTHA PANDEY

Astha Pandey has a diverse work experience spanning across multiple organizations. ASTHA began their career as a Climate Counsellor at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in June 2017. ASTHA then proceeded to work as a Research Internship at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) from December 2017 to January 2018. ASTHA further gained experience as a Summer Research Intern at the same institution from May 2018 to June 2018. Astha also participated in a Short Term Course at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) in July 2018.

In 2021, Astha joined the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) again for a Research Project in January and February. Additionally, they worked as a Data Curator at Elucidata from August 2021 to May 2022, followed by a role as a Senior Curator from March 2022 to July 2022. At Elucidata, they gained expertise in data analysis, curation, and productizing solutions related to biological data.

Currently, Astha holds the position of Data Analyst at Elucidata, which they started in August 2022. ASTHA'sresponsibilities include analyzing multi-omics biological data using APIs, pipelines, and machine learning models. ASTHA also works on data transformation, integration, and visualization, while collaborating with internal and external engineers for product development and improvement of data analysis pipelines and algorithms.

Overall, Astha Pandey has showcased their abilities and dedication through their various roles in research, climate counseling, and data analysis, making their a valuable asset in the field of biological data analysis and curation.

Astha Pandey attended Banaras Hindu University from 2016 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry at Chandigarh University from 2019 to 2021. Astha Pandey has also obtained two additional certifications: the Biomedical Data Analysis Fellowship from Elucidata in February 2022 and the Introduction to Data Analytics certification from IBM in January 2022.
