Janet Nieto

Janet Nieto currently serves as the Director of Student Recruitment at EMERGE since September 2019, where previous roles included Lead Program Manager and Klein ISD Program Manager. Prior experience includes being a Program Coordinator at Genesys Works, and a Health Communications Intern at Tufts University, where Janet focused on effective health information dissemination for first-year students. Janet's background also includes various roles at Tufts University, such as Office Assistant in multiple departments and Student Researcher in community-based participatory research. Additional experience encompasses leadership as Co-President of the Nu Chapter of Latinas Promoviendo Comunidad/Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Public Policy Intern at the Alzheimer's Association, and mentorship through the Young Owls Leadership Program at Rice University. Janet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Community Health, Spanish, and Latino Studies from Tufts University, supplemented by international educational experiences in Spain and France.
