Michael Barham has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Michael began their career as a Research Fellow at the NSW Board of Jewish Education (BJE) in 2006. In 2007, they joined the Champion Learning Center as a Program Manager and eventually became the Head Program Manager. At Champion, they oversaw program delivery, managed a team of six program managers, and ensured effective communication between various stakeholders. In 2013, they joined Emerging Practitioners in Philanthropy (EPIP) as the Membership & Operations Manager. EPIP is a national network focused on developing emerging leaders committed to building a just and equitable society. Since 2015, Michael has been involved with the Emma Bowen Foundation, initially as the Director of Strategy and Analytics, then as Vice President, Programs, and currently as Chief Operating Officer. The Foundation aims to create career opportunities in the media industry for youth of color through internships and professional development programs.
Michael Barham earned their High School Diploma from Stuyvesant High School from 1997 to 2001. Michael then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan from 2001 to 2005. Later, from 2013 to 2016, they attended Baruch College and obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree.
