Joshua R. Newton

Joshua R. Newton serves as the Senior Vice President for Advancement and Alumni Engagement at Emory University since August 2018. Prior to this role, Joshua R. Newton was the President & CEO of The University of Connecticut Foundation, Inc. from August 2013 to August 2018, and held the position of Vice President for University Development at Emory University from August 2003 to August 2013. Joshua R. Newton began a career in development as the Executive Director of Development at Converse College from August 2000 to August 2002, and earlier served as the Director of Major Gifts at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC from 1998 to 2000. Joshua R. Newton earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College between 1990 and 1993.
