Maureen Ward

Maureen Ward has extensive experience in healthcare network development and contracting. Maureen is currently working as the Director of Network Development at Empassion Health, where they focus on developing and managing high-performing, value-based networks for seniors with advanced illness and end of life. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Network Development at LTC ACO, where they were responsible for developing skilled nursing facility and provider networks for a Medicare Shared Savings Program. Maureen also worked at Gateway Health, where they held various roles including Manager of Hospital and Physician Contracting, Senior Provider Contracting Consultant, Senior Contracting Analyst, and Provider Contracting Analyst. In these positions, they managed contract negotiations, developed value-based agreements, and oversaw reimbursement for multiple health systems and facilities. Earlier in their career, Maureen worked at Cigna-HealthSpring as the Network Operations Manager, Behavioral Health Provider Relations Supervisor, and Physician Recruiter, where they focused on managing provider networks, implementing behavioral health programs, and recruiting providers.

Maureen Ward obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies Magna Cum Laude from Neumann University. Maureen studied Business Administration and Computer & Information Management during their time at the university, graduating in 1992.
