Jennifer Ruiz began their work experience in 2015 as a Front Desk Clerk at Nan McKay and Associates (NMA), where they provided professional and accurate customer service. Jennifer then transitioned to the role of Intake Specialist, responsible for determining applicant and participant eligibility for housing programs. In 2019, Jennifer joined the Hialeah Housing Authority as an Occupancy Specialist, collecting program data and educating participants on program requirements. Jennifer later became a Family Self Sufficiency Housing Specialist, assessing housing barriers and developing case management plans. Most recently, Jennifer worked at Emphasys Software as a Client Manager, where they managed client expectations and delivered services for assigned clients. Jennifer also held the role of Customer Solutions Specialist, providing world-class product support to customers through various support channels. In their current role as an Account Manager, Jennifer emphasizes understanding the client perspective and being the voice of the customer.

Jennifer Ruiz completed their Associate's degree in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Miami Dade College between 2014 and 2019. Jennifer is currently pursuing a degree in Business Intelligence Professional with a focus on Data Entry/Microcomputer Applications at the same institution, starting in 2022. In addition to their education, Jennifer has obtained certifications as a Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP) from Miami Dade College and as a Certified Specialist of Occupancy - Housing Choice Voucher (CSO-HCV) from Nan McKay and Associates (NMA).
