Guy Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years with various leadership positions in different industries. Guy is the Executive Chair & CEO of Dynamic Technologies Group since 1996, where they provide leadership in designing and supplying theme park attractions and engineered products. In 2007, they acquired Tornado Hydrovacs and served as the CEO until 2016, when the company became its own public entity and they took on the role of Non-Executive Chair. Guy has also served as the Co-Chair in the Coalition for Canadian Astronomy since 2007. Additionally, Guy Nelson was the Chair of Better Workplace, a private environmental software company, from 2002 to 2020. Prior to these roles, they were the CEO and Owner of Nelson Advisors Inc., where they held shares in a steel fabrication company, restructured an oilseed processing plant, and led a successful airport development project in Uruguay.
Guy Nelson attended the University of Alberta from 1973 to 1977, where they pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree. Following that, they enrolled in Western University from 1977 to 1979 to complete their MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
