Yingjie Wang

Yingjie (Carrie) Wang is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and machine learning. Currently serving as the Machine Learning Engineering Lead at Employment Hero since May 2021, previous roles at the same company have included Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer, Data Team Lead, and Data Analyst/Data Scientist. Prior to Employment Hero, Yingjie Wang worked at China Southern Power Grid from December 2013 to September 2020 as a Data Scientist, where responsibilities included developing data solutions and building machine learning models to enhance decision-making. Earlier experience includes a position as Business Analyst/Project Manager at Guangdong Electric Power Design Institute, focusing on client requirements and system solutions, and a summer internship at EMC Computer Systems. Yingjie Wang holds a Master’s degree in Control Science and Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Automation from Tsinghua University.
