Joel Franz

Joel Franz currently serves as the Fiscal Affairs Committee Chair for the Associated Student Government at Emporia State University, overseeing budgets and advocating for student benefit through policy amendments. Alongside this role, Joel is a student senator representing the School of Business. Additionally, Joel works as a Floater/Member Service Representative at Emporia State Federal Credit Union, where skills related to ACH payments and member services are being developed. As the President of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity, leadership and management skills are being cultivated. Previous experience includes an internship focused on financial well-being at Meritrust Credit Union and a member service role at Emporia State Federal Credit Union, where foundational finance skills were honed. Joel is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Accounting at Emporia State University, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a finance pathway at Newton Senior High School, from which graduation occurred in May 2022.
