MARIO JORGE BASILIO is a geophysicist currently employed by Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos EP since November 2018 and has also served as a secondment geophysicist. Concurrently, since March 2016, MARIO has been working as an Environment Risk Manager Consultant for MAL Energy & Services Lda. Previous positions include geoscientist for GALP from May 2013 to April 2019, project manager at CARE from October 2010 to March 2013, and meteorologist-climatologist at the National Institute of Meteorology (INAM) from July 2005 to October 2010. Additional experience includes serving as a national consultant for climate change with UNDP in November 2009 and as a lecturer at the Pedagogic University in Mozambique from July 2007 to June 2008, along with assistant lecturer roles in physics at Eduardo Mondlane University from February 2002 to June 2004. MARIO holds multiple degrees, including a Master in Geoscience with a focus on Applied Geophysics from NTNU and a diploma in Geo-Engineering from several prestigious institutions. Currently, MARIO is pursuing an MBA in Oil & Gas with Energy Management at Unicaf University.
