Steven Edelstein has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Steven began their career in 1984 as the Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer of Equitable Agri-Business Inc., a subsidiary of Equitable Life (now Axa). At this position, they were responsible for originating, managing, and servicing a $2 billion portfolio of agricultural mortgage and real estate investments on behalf of the parent company and pension funds. In 1994, they became the owner and operator of Microplay Video Games, a retail electronics store, and was also the President of the franchisee council. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as the Controller and Manager of Finance at the Georgia Power Federal Credit Union, managing a $50 million credit union and overseeing accounting, financial and regulatory reporting, cash management and investments, asset/liability management, budgeting and financial planning, collections and risk management, and human resource administration. From 2010 to 2022, they were a Senior Product Consultant at Fiserv, where they provided support to banks and credit unions utilizing Fiserv's Vantage budgeting, forecasting, and Asset/Liability Management modeling application. Steven specialized in financial analysis, risk measurement and analysis, budgeting, and financial forecasting. Currently, they work at Empyrean Solutions as a Client Services and Consultant.
Steven Edelstein obtained their Bachelor of Science in Management-Accounting from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, between 1973 and 1977.
