Karl Karkaria

Karl Karkaria is an experienced finance professional with a focus on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of ESG Research at ENAM Asset Management Company Private Limited since January 2022, Karkaria previously held the position of Head of ESG Research at Quantum Advisors India from August 2014 to December 2021, where responsibilities included developing a proprietary ESG rating methodology. Earlier in career, Karkaria worked as a Research Associate at Sutherland Global Services (formerly Adventity) from 2006 to 2008, managing a team that supported the investment strategies unit of a major investment bank in Singapore. Karkaria's educational background includes an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts in India and a Bachelor of Commerce from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics. Karkaria studied at Maneckji Cooper from 1986 to 1998 and is a graduate of the CFA Institute.
