“Prince Clement Adesuyi Haastrup is a former Deputy Governor of Osun State and has championed the cause of public sector reforms in Nigeria for many years. In recent years, he has secured public-private participation contracts with the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN), The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), The Federal Housing Authority Nigeria (FHA) and executed multi- disciplinary projects for the Federal Road Management Authority (FERMA), Department of Solid Minerals Nigeria, as well as various State Governments. Prince Clement Adesuyi Haastrup was born on September 19th 1948 into a royal family of Ijesha land (Ajimoko) in Osun State. Prince Haastrup attended Eko Boys’ High School between 1963 and 1967, and Federal School of Sciences (1968-69) for his A levels. He bagged his B.Pharm at Howard University, Washington D.C in United States of America. No sooner than he came back from USA in 1981, he went into politics and ended up as the Deputy Governor of Osun State in 1990. Believing he was a strange bedfellow in politics, he quit after his tenure, and has since then faced business squarely. He founded ENL Consortium Limited in 2002, which has since developed into a conglomerate, diversifying with excellence into many areas such as power, port operations, hospitality, estate development, road and building construction, quarry operations and gold mining (under development), all in Nigeria. The visionary leadership of Prince C. A Haastrup has continuously steered the company to relevance in the business community. He has been Chairman of many non-political and political establishments such as Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, Electoral Committee for Gubernatorial, Senatorial and Representative Primary Elections, among others. Prince Clement Haastrup is a philanthropist with a foundation that has given education scholarships to over 500 students locally and internationally. Prince Clement Haastrup, a seasoned entrepreneur, is happily married with children. He is a devoted Christian and constantly ascribes all glory to God for all he has been privileged to render to improve the well-being of mankind. ”
