Hemant Phalak

Hemant Phalak has had a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as the Co-Founder of Entvin (YC S22) since May 2022. Prior to that, they were part of the founding team at Zolve from March 2021 to March 2022, where they worked in a business role.

Before Zolve, Hemant worked at OYO from November 2019 to February 2021, initially as a Project Manager. In this role, they managed a large team of on-ground sales representatives and implemented various initiatives, including the distribution of loans to hoteliers, property renegotiation, and network conversion to a prepaid wallet model. Hemant also played a key role in reconciliations, tech feature development, and training for the new business model. Hemant also worked briefly as an Associate at OYO from June 2019 to November 2019.

Prior to their time at OYO, Hemant worked as an Associate Consultant at PwC India from July 2018 to June 2019. Hemant gained further experience as a Summer Associate at Goodera in 2017.

Hemant's earlier work experiences include being a Core Group Member at Mood Indigo IIT Bombay from March 2015 to April 2016. Hemant was also an Events Coordinator at The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay from July 2015 to January 2016, where they contributed to the successful execution of numerous events, workshops, and speaker sessions. Additionally, Hemant worked as an Assistant Manager at ROOTS (SPICMACAY) in 2015.

Overall, Hemant Phalak has a strong background in startup co-founding, business development, project management, and events coordination.

Hemant Phalak attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Btech degree in MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems). In addition, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera in September 2018.
