Associate Veterinarian, Racehorse Division at EQUINE SPORTS MEDICINE & SURGERY

Clayton McCook is an accomplished veterinarian and leader with extensive experience in equine medicine and disaster response. Currently serving as President and Veterinary Officer for Oklahoma Large Animal First Responders Inc. since May 2013, Clayton plays a pivotal role in disaster relief efforts following the devastating storms in Oklahoma. As an Associate Veterinarian in the Racehorse Division at Equine Sports Medicine & Surgery since May 2009, Clayton specializes in lameness prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, along with sports medicine and rehabilitation. Clayton holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science in Animal Sciences from the University of Connecticut, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Christian University. Currently enrolled at Oklahoma City University, Clayton is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Organizational Leadership.
