Lior Peleg

Lior Peleg has extensive work experience in the agriculture industry, with a focus on marketing, product management, and market development. Lior has held various leadership roles at companies such as Netafim, Naandanjain, and Haifa Chemicals.

At Netafim, Lior served as the Global Marketing Director, where they managed the corporate marketing team and led global brand, digital marketing, product marketing, PR, and employer branding efforts. Lior was responsible for positioning Netafim as the brand of choice for precision irrigation and increasing awareness of their solutions globally.

Lior also served as the Head of Product Marketing at Netafim, overseeing all marketing activities for the company's global products and solutions. Lior developed value propositions, marketing strategies, and marketing assets, and managed marketing campaigns for new product launches.

Additionally, Lior led the Strategic Crops initiative at Netafim, where they analyzed the global market, identified key focus crops, and built comprehensive go-to-market plans for these crops. Lior was also responsible for growing the business for strategic crops and coordinating corn-related activities as the Head of the Global Corn Unit.

Before working at Netafim, Lior held positions at Naandanjain and Haifa Chemicals. At Naandanjain, they served as the Regional Manager for Asia, managing sales managers, dealers, and turnkey projects in eight countries. Lior also worked as a Product Manager for Drip Irrigation, leading global market development, promotional campaigns, and new product launches.

At Haifa Chemicals, Lior served as an Agronomist and Market Development Manager. Lior conducted field trials, established a research center, and searched for new market development opportunities in Latin America.

In their most recent role, Lior joined Equinom Ltd as the VP of the Sesame Business Unit, starting in 2022.

Lior Peleg pursued their education starting in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Science from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Lior studied there until 2006. Following this, they enrolled at Tel Aviv University in 2011 and completed their studies in 2017. At Tel Aviv University, Lior pursued a Master of Fine Arts degree with a focus on Cinema and Television. Lior'sspecialization was in production and directing.
