Kushagra Dutta

Kushagra Dutta has a diverse work experience in the finance and insurance industry. Kushagra started their career at Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance Co Ltd. as an Area Sales Manager for bancassurance from 2004 to 2008. Kushagra then joined ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company Limited as an Area Manager and National Relationship Manager from 2008 to 2009. Kushagra later worked at Kotak Mahindra Old Life Insurance Limited as the Zonal Head North for Relationship, Bancassurance, Brokers, and Corporate Agency from 2009 to 2016.

Following this, Dutta ventured into an entrepreneurial venture called Call Saloon Pvt Ltd, where they co-founded the company. Kushagra introduced unique features such as on-call barber/beautician services, e-tailing cosmetic products, and other undisclosed business models from 2016 to 2018.

Most recently, Dutta has been associated with Equitas Small Finance Bank. Kushagra began as the Zonal Head/Dvp.- (Bancassurance) North India and successfully set up and managed various verticals for third-party distribution. Kushagra also led a team of 10 TPP members. Kushagra then progressed to the role of Vice President in Wealth Management and Bancassurance, followed by the position of Business Manager/VP for Wealth Management and Bancassurance in specific regions. Currently, Dutta holds the role of National Business Manager/VP, overseeing Bancassurance and Third Party Products.

Kushagra Dutta completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta between the years 2004 and 2006. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Marketing/Marketing Management, General from Jagan Institute of Management Studies, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. In the year 2001, Kushagra also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their CBSE studies.
