Sophia Fairweather

Sophia Fairweather is a dedicated advocate for youth engagement in STEM, currently serving as the founder of Key-Angels and the National Youth Ambassador for Universal Womens Network™. With a rich background, Sophia has held various influential roles, including Board Member and Chair of the Next Wave of Innovation at the Electronic Recycling Association and columnist at Community NOW Magazine. Recognized by prestigious organizations such as Mattel International, Wikipedia Foundation, and Deloitte, Sophia's work includes promoting girls in STEM through initiatives like StartUpBySophia. Additionally, impactful contributions were made during tenure as a Program and Policy Influencer for the Government of Canada, where Sophia played a crucial role in the establishment of an 11 million dollar fund supporting collaboration and policy change. Educational pursuits include ongoing STEM studies and participation in The Knowledge Society.
