Ahmadou Bakayoko has a diverse work experience in various positions and industries. Ahmadou started their career as a Venture Capital Analyst at Viventures Partners in 2001. Ahmadou then worked at Capgemini as a Consultant from 2004 to 2006. In 2006, they founded and served as CEO of Diaspofone, an MVNO targeting the African community in France.
In 2009, Bakayoko joined Canal+ as the Africa Business Development Manager and later became the Africa Business Development Director. From 2012 to 2019, they worked at Radiodiffusion Television Ivoirienne, first as the COO and then as the CEO.
In 2019, Bakayoko took up the role of Chief Operations Officer at Eranove, a pan-African group specializing in public services management, drinking water, and electricity production. Ahmadou also served as the Chief Executive Officer at SODECI, a water distribution company, and at Compagnie Ivoirienne d’Électricité, an electricity company.
Throughout their career, Bakayoko has gained extensive experience in leadership, business development, and management in the telecommunications, media, and utility sectors.
Ahmadou Bakayoko attended École Polytechnique for an unspecified period of time. Ahmadou then pursued a Master's degree in IT/Telecom at Télécom Paris from 2000 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed another Master's degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics at École Polytechnique from 1998 to 2000.
