Furio Riccio

Furio Riccio is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in mission control and software development, currently serving as the Mission Control Elements Projects Portfolio Manager and Mission Control System Applications Team Leader at EUMETSAT since October 2014. Prior to this, Furio held multiple roles at CGI from January 2010 to September 2014, including Project Manager and Technical Authority for the Ground Station Monitoring and Control project for ESA. Previous positions also include Technical Authority at Terma A/S for the Galileo SCCF program, and Project Manager for the Herschel & Planck Repatriation project. Furio's career began with software development roles, including significant contributions at Dataspazio S.p.A. and a software development position during university studies. Furio holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
