Darren Smith

Darren Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of IT architecture and engineering. Darren is currently working at the EBRD since 2019, where they have held various roles including Associate Director, IT Architecture (Acting Chief Architect), and Principal Lead Architect. Prior to that, they were an Enterprise Architect at Clyde & Co from 2018 to 2019 and a Solutions Architect from 2016 to 2018. Darren also worked at NBCUniversal Media, LLC as a Solutions Architect Team Lead and Core Infrastructure Engineer from 2013 to 2016. In addition, they have experience as a Senior Network Infrastructure and Security Engineer at White & Case from 2012 to 2013 and as a Network Infrastructure and Security Engineer from 2011 to 2012. Darren'searly career includes roles as a Network Manager (Contract) at My Kinda Place and a Network Analyst at GW Professional Ltd. Darren Smith attended Havering Sixth Form College from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Information Technology, Geology, and Design Technology. Prior to that, they attended Robert Clack School of Science from 1996 to 2001. In 2000, they also obtained an NVQ Level 1 in Engineering from Fords Thameside Training Centre. Additionally, Darren has obtained various certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) - Enterprise, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation, and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
