Iryna Solonenko

Iryna Solonenko is a seasoned expert in Ukrainian affairs, currently serving as the Ukraine Programme Director and Senior Fellow at Zentrum Liberale Moderne since December 2020. With extensive experience in research and policy analysis, Iryna has held positions as a researcher at European University Viadrina since October 2012 and as an expert on Ukraine with the Bertelsmann Foundation since January 2012. Previously, Iryna was an Associate Fellow at the German Council on Foreign Relations, contributing expertise on domestic developments and EU integration initiatives. Iryna is also recognized as the founder and expert of the Eastern Partnership Index, which assesses the progress of Eastern Partnership countries in their European integration efforts. Earlier roles included Programme Director at the International Renaissance Foundation and project management at the EastWest Institute. Iryna's educational background includes advanced degrees in Public Administration and International Relations from reputable institutions, including the National Academy of Public Administration and Central European University.
