Heather Kosztowny

Heather Kosztowny is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in research and teaching roles. Heather is currently the Director of Data Science at Everstream Analytics, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Heather worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Everstream Analytics from October 2020 to April 2023.

Before joining Everstream Analytics, Heather held positions at Savi Technology and The Data Incubator. At Savi Technology, they served as a Principal Data Scientist from March 2020 to October 2020, and as a Data Scientist from September 2018 to March 2020. At The Data Incubator, Heather was selected as a Data Incubator Fellow and completed an intensive two-month course on data science in 2018.

Heather also has research experience, having worked as a Principal Investigator at The National Institutes of Health from September 2015 to August 2018 and as a Research Assistant II at Baylor College of Medicine from August 2011 to March 2018.

In addition to their work in data science and research, Heather has teaching experience. Heather served as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Houston from September 2017 to December 2017, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Houston from January 2014 to August 2016.

Overall, Heather Kosztowny has a diverse background in data science, research, and teaching, with a focus on applying machine learning techniques, conducting distributed computing, and manipulating data using various programming languages.

Heather Kosztowny has a solid education background in psychology. Heather obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts from 2007 to 2011. Later, they pursued further education at the University of Houston, where they earned a Master's degree in Psychology from 2013 to 2015. Heather went on to complete their education at the University of Houston, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Social Psychology from 2015 to 2018.

In addition to their academic degrees, Heather Kosztowny has also earned some additional certifications. Heather completed the "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" program offered by LinkedIn in October 2020. Earlier, in June 2018, Heather obtained the certificate of "Program Graduate" from The Data Incubator.
