Johan Osinga

Johan Osinga has extensive experience in the maritime industry. Johan is currently serving as the Chief Engineer at Excelerate Energy since February 2021. Prior to their current role, Johan worked at Exmar for 15 years, holding various positions including Maintenance Manager, Superintendent, and Chief Engineer. Johan has also worked as a 2nd Engineer at Jo Tankers from November 2000 to December 2005 and served as a Service Engineer at Start People from June 2003 to March 2005. Johan began their career at Holwerda Shipmanagement in 1989, where they started as an apprentice and worked their way up to Chief Engineer, specializing in multipurpose ships and container feeders.
