Rachel Folts

Rachel Folts is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, with professional experience as an Engineer I in Design at Exmark Manufacturing Company since May 2022. In this role, Rachel has contributed to product development by producing essential components, analyzing complex designs for compliance with industry standards, and optimizing geometries using finite element analysis (FEA). Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for an Intro to CAD course, where Rachel instructed and supported students using SOLIDWORKS. Additionally, Rachel worked as a freelance artist, managing commissioned projects, and as a Head Lifeguard for the City of Omaha Parks and Recreation, where responsibilities included supervising lifeguards and teaching swimming lessons.
