Ryan Meers

Ryan Meers has extensive experience in engineering and project management. Ryan began their career as a Mechanical Engineer Intern at MEI in 1998. Ryan later worked as a Process Control Engineer at Johnson Matthey, Inc. from 2000 to 2001. From 2003 to 2004, they founded and served as a designer at Motivation Design, LLC. Meers then transitioned to Rehrig Pacific Company, where they held various roles including Senior Industrial Designer, Manager of Strategic Projects, and Senior Design Engineer from 2004 to 2011. Ryan worked as a Mechanical Engineer at DesignDesign, Inc. from 2011 to 2012 before returning to Rehrig Pacific Company as a Senior Design Project Manager from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, Meers joined Smithwise as a Lead Engineer, focusing on project development and technical leadership for mechanical and electro-mechanical devices. Ryan then served as the Director of Mechanical Engineering / PA Office General Manager at Smithwise from 2015 to 2017. Ryan is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Exokinetics, Inc., a position they have held since December 2020.

Ryan Meers completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Later, they pursued a Master of Science in Industrial Design from Pratt Institute, which they earned between 2001 and 2003.
