Antoinette Alexander Adefela is a highly experienced professional with over seven years of expertise in instructional design and development. Adefela is the Founder/ CEO of Exp.Design LLC, a creative learning agency that partners with training teams to design and develop unique custom learning solutions ranging from eLearning, learning design consulting, and learning platforms and systems support. Prior to starting their own company, Adefela worked as a Learning and Development Manager at EPAM Systems. Antoinette has also worked as an Instructional Designer at Facebook, Liveops, Inc. and Stanford University. In addition, they have served as a consultant at Google, Splunk, and ConocoPhillips, where they worked on various instructional design projects. Throughout their career, Adefela has demonstrated an ability to work creatively and collaboratively with stakeholders to create innovative and effective learning solutions.

Antoinette Alexander Adefela has both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2009 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Marketing from the University of Houston-Victoria earned in 2013. Antoinette also completed various certification programs providing their with knowledge in several areas such as Design Thinking, Managing Learning Programs, and Blended Learning from American Society of Training and Development (now ATD) in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, Antoinette attended General Assembly to obtain certification in User Experience Bootcamp and Digital Marketing (10-Week). Furthermore, they also hold a front-end development nanodegree from Udacity. In 2018, they earned a certificate from IDEO U in Design Thinking. Additionally, Antoinette has several certifications from LinkedIn in various business-related areas such as Management Foundations, Instructional Design, Succeeding as a First-Time Tech Manager, and Learn Emotional Intelligence, the Key Determiner of Success. In 2020, they obtained a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Certification from the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDCHQ).
