Mykyta Fastovets has a diverse work experience spanning from 2006 to the present. Mykyta started as a Technical Support Consultant at Appalachian State University in 2006, where they repaired and serviced customer machines and answered client telephone calls. In 2007, they participated in a Summer REU Internship at the University of Houston, focusing on problems of rank aggregation and conducting statistical correlation tests.

After that, Mykyta joined Institution Beaupeyrat in France as an Assistant Instructor of English, where they prepared and gave lectures, graded assignments, and provided feedback on student performance. In 2008, they briefly worked at Societe Generale as an IT Specialist/Interpreter for strategic alliance negotiations, where they played the role of an IT advisor and interpreter.

Following that, Mykyta moved to the University of Surrey as a Visiting Research Student, participating in the i3DLive project and conducting research on stereo-matching and rendering techniques. Mykyta also worked as an Intellectual Property Technical Analyst at Powell Gilbert LLP from 2011 to 2015, specializing in IP litigation and conducting patent analysis, prior art search, and infringement analysis.

In 2014, Mykyta co-founded ExpoPlatform and took on the role of Co-founder and CTO. ExpoPlatform offers online business networking solutions for events, focusing on making networking at exhibitions and conferences more effective. Mykyta also worked as an Event Organizer for WePlay Convention, a gaming exhibition in Kiev and Dubai that includes eSports tournaments, championship finals, and technology showcases.

Throughout their career, Mykyta has demonstrated a passion for innovation and a strong background in technology, research, and event organization.

Mykyta Fastovets completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Vision, Image Analysis from the University of Surrey, from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics from Université de Limoges, from 2007 to 2009. Mykyta started their academic journey by earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from Appalachian State University, completing it between 2002 and 2007.
