Aaron McDonald

Aaron McDonald has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Aaron began their career as a MACD Specialist at XO Communications in 2000. Aaron then worked as a Jr. Programmer Analyst at Centershift from 2002 to 2005. After that, they co-founded Revadon, LLC in 2009 and served as a Principal Consultant, working on projects on the Force.com platform. In 2012, they joined Extra Space Storage as a Manager, Software Services, where they played a key role in the conversion of the company's environment to the Salesforce/Force.com platform. Aaron then held various leadership positions at Extra Space Storage, including Director of Software Engineering and Director of Quality Engineering. Since 2020, they have been serving as the Sr Director Platform Engineering at Extra Space Storage.

Aaron McDonald received their Bachelor of Science degree in Business—Information Technology Management from Western Governors University. Aaron also holds several certifications including Azure Fundamentals, Certified OKR Professional, Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner, Certified ScrumMaster, MTA: Networking Fundamentals, CompTIA Project, MTA: Database Fundamentals, Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Advanced Developer, Salesforce.com Certified Force.com Developer, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional.
