Keyur Patel

Keyur Patel has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily in the field of ophthalmology. Keyur started their career at Pfizer Pharmaceuticals in 2002, where they held multiple roles, including Regional Medical Research Specialist and Clinical Science Manager in the Ophthalmology department. In 2003, they joined INO Therapeutics as a Medical Science Liaison before moving on to Novartis Pharmaceuticals in 2004. At Novartis, they served as the Regional Scientific Associate Director for Ophthalmology and later for Respiratory until 2010. Keyur then joined Bausch & Lomb as a Medical Science Liaison specializing in Ophthalmology and stayed there until 2014. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at Shire, first as the MSL Lead for the Ophthalmic MSL Team and later as the Global Medical Lead for Ophthalmics. Since 2017, Keyur has been at EyePoint Pharmaceuticals, initially as the Senior Director and now as the Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs. Overall, Keyur Patel has more than 18 years of experience in medical affairs and ophthalmology, with a strong background in leadership roles and scientific expertise in the field.

Keyur Patel attended Midwestern University from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a PharmD degree. Prior to that, they studied Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago from 1991 to 1995, earning a BS degree.
