Uche Iloeje MD, MPH, FACP has extensive work experience in the field of medical affairs and outcomes research. Uche began their career at BMS in 2001, where they held various roles including Associate Director, Director, and Group Director in Global Epidemiology and Outcomes Research. In these roles, they were responsible for strategic and scientific support, developing high-performing teams, and providing health economic support for therapeutic areas such as Oncology, Neurosciences, and Virology. From 2007 to 2013, Uche worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals as Vice President of Outcomes Research and Medical Affairs-Global. Uche joined Intercept Pharmaceuticals in 2016 as the Vice President of Medical Affairs US. Currently, Uche holds the position of SVP and Head of Medical Affairs at SpringWorks Therapeutics. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong leadership skills, managing teams and providing medical leadership for clinical trials in various therapeutic areas.
Uche Iloeje, MD, MPH, FACP completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) at the University of Nigeria College of Medicine from 1981 to 1987. Uche then pursued their MD from 1992 to 1995 at The University of Connecticut Health Center, specializing in the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Following this, they undertook a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from 1995 to 1996. Later, from 1999 to 2001, they attended Yale University School of Medicine, where they obtained their MPH, specializing in Chronic Disease Epidemiology. During the same period, they also completed a Fellowship in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine.
