Ismael Acosta Servetto is a dedicated academic and researcher with a focus on astrobiology. Currently serving as an assistant professor at Facultad de Ciencias Universidad de la Republica since June 2021, Ismael also contributes to the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science as a research associate. In addition, Ismael teaches astronomy at Colegio San Ignacio Mons. ISASA since May 2021. Previous research experience includes an assistant role in a project on microfossils at PEDECIBA from July 2018 to March 2019, under the supervision of Dr. Claudio Gaucher. Ismael holds an undergraduate degree in astrobiology from Universidad de la República, obtained in 2021, and completed an introductory course in astrobiology earlier that same year.
